Rosa Wiener Wiesn Festival

At the Wiener Wiesn-Festival, there’s lederhosen gaudiness and dirndl fun for gays and lesbians for a whole evening. Live music, hearty food and humorous performance will ensure a successful evening. The Wiener Wiesn-Fest offers lederhosen gaudiness and dirndl fun for gays and lesbians for a whole evening and over a ‘Frühschoppen’ (morning pint).

Take a spin on the traditional Ferris wheel and then walk over to one of the many food stands on site for an ice cold beer and some delicious typical local dishes. Highlights of the event include the famous coronation of the Rosa Weisn Emperor and Empress. No matter whether you find a crown on your head or not, you are sure to have an amazing time at this unique festival.

During the Wiener Wiesn-Fest in the Prater, the Pink Wiener Wiesn-Fest takes to the stage in Wojnar’s Emperor Marquee, starting at 6.30 pm. In front of the backdrop of the Giant Ferris Wheel, gays and lesbians can spend a fun evening dolled up in dirndl and lederhosen. This year’s evening whisks visitors away to the land of operetta – consistent with the Burgenland Day at the Wiener Wiesn-Fest.

This year again, there is also a Pink Wiener Wiesn Frühschoppen (morning pint), also in Wojnar’s Emperor Marquee. The atmosphere in the festival tent on this day is provided by a mixture traditional bands and cover artists.
